Jackie Ribas, a Brazilian-born artist, seamlessly weaves together R&B, gospel, and Brazilian jazz with an unparalleled sincerity and tenderness that captivates listeners. Her musical journey began at the age of four in a church choir, catalyzed by her mother’s decision to enroll her in vocal and music lessons. Jackie’s passion for music blossomed, leading her to win a prestigious talent show and secure her first record deal as a teenager. Her talent took her to various bands, studio sessions, and the renowned Altas horas band on Globo TV—one of the largest commercial TV networks in Latin America. After seven years in the spotlight at Globo TV, Jackie courageously pursued an international career, relocating to New York in 2012. Since then, she has garnered recognition, including a mention in the New York Times for her performance at a tap dance festival. Jackie’s global journey includes performances in Europe, a solo EP titled “See Me” in 2021, and notable appearances, such as performing at Metlife Stadium for the inauguration of New Jersey’s governor in 2022 and at Hillary Clinton’s birthday gala dinner. With a career spanning diverse bands and a solo venture, Jackie Ribas remains a dedicated artist who breathes music into every moment of her life.
